First, the application field

Polymer Melt Pump (English name: Melt Pump), is a kind of power equipment used for high temperature, high viscosity polymer melt transportation. It is mainly used for high-temperature, high-viscosity polymer melt conveying, pressurization, metering, in plastics, resins, rubber, chemical fiber products are widely used in extrusion molding, such as pelleting, film, tubing, plates, sheets, synthetic fibers, optical fibers, medical plastic catheters and other industries.

The working pressure of the melt pump is usually expressed in three parameters: inlet pressure, outlet pressure and differential pressure. Ordinary melt pump inlet pressure of less than 10MPa, the export pressure of less than 35MPa, the differential pressure of up to 25MPa. For pressure-resistant high melt pumps, the export pressure of up to 50MPa or even higher.

Fifth. Temperature range

The working temperature range of the melt pump is wide to adapt to the processing needs of different materials. Generally speaking, the working temperature of the melt pump can be up to about 400 ℃, the cleaning temperature can also reach the corresponding high temperature range. At the same time, the melt pump adopts electric heating or thermal medium heating system, which can precisely control the melt temperature to meet the processing requirements of different materials.
