Reactor kettle melt pump

As a critical piece of equipment in the chemical, synthetic fiber, and plastics processing industries, the reactor melt pump is specifically designed for the conveyance, pressurization, and metering of high-temperature, high-pressure, and high-viscosity melts, serving as a core component for ensuring production continuity and product precision. Utilizing the positive displacement principle with high-precision involute gear meshing, these pumps can reliably handle materials with viscosities ranging from 1,000 to 40,000,000 cps, maintaining flow rate fluctuations within ±1%—far exceeding the performance limits of traditional conveying equipment.

In terms of structural design, the equipment utilizes corrosion- and heat-resistant materials such as 38CrMoAl nitrided steel or 316 stainless steel. Combined with a “spiral seal + mechanical seal” solution, it can withstand temperatures up to 400°C and pressures up to 276 bar, ensuring leak-free operation. An integrated electric heating or thermal oil heating system, paired with a PID temperature control module, stabilizes melt temperature within ±0.5°C, effectively preventing the degradation of polymer materials.

In practical applications, this equipment reduces spinning pressure fluctuations to less than 2% in the synthetic fiber spinning sector, lowering fiber breakage rates by 80%. In plastic modification production, it improves filler distribution uniformity by 40%, enhancing the mechanical properties of the final product. It is also suitable for material conveyance under vacuum reaction conditions and is widely used in the processing of high-viscosity materials free of particulate impurities, such as resins, rubber, asphalt, and hot-melt adhesives.
