Melt pump assembly and use of must-know matters

I. Precautions for assembling the melt pump:

Before installation, please make sure to clean all parts to ensure no residual material. The position of the shaft sleeve (ABCD) must correspond to the pump body.

When installing the shaft sleeve, apply some high temperature lubricating grease to prevent the shaft and sleeve from hugging when the pump is turned on.

When installing the front and rear covers, apply a circle of sealant evenly on the inside of the cover (the surface where the cover contacts the casing).

When installing the spiral, make sure the main shaft is centered in the spiral and not offset. After installation, disk the shaft, no stagnation can be. Tighten the gland bolts after putting in the coiler (it is not necessary to tighten them to the end, just tighten them), tighten the bolts in diagonal order, and pay attention that the gland should not be screwed off.

During installation, avoid using sharp instruments to knock the parts, use copper rod or rubber hammer if necessary.

II, the start-up precautions:

The pump body is heated to the working temperature and kept warm for 30-60 minutes, it is forbidden to idle the motor with the pump.
