The melt gear pump is suitable for conveying high-temperature and high-viscosity polymer melts. The entire set consists of a pump housing, gears, shaft sleeves, seals, temperature control, drive system, and various auxiliary devices.
Pump casing: The main frame of the equipment, made of high-temperature alloy steel, is resistant to high temperatures, wear, and corrosion. It supports all internal components and withstands the stress of high-temperature pipeline conditions.
Gear (core component): The driving and driven gear shafts are forged as one piece, available in straight, helical, and double helical designs. The surface is nitrided for strengthening, providing wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
Sliding shaft sleeve: It supports the smooth rotation of the gear shaft, relies on melt self-lubrication, buffers wear, and protects the pump shaft.
Sealing components: Optional spiral seal and packing seal, sealing the shaft body gap to prevent melt leakage.
Temperature control system: The temperature control accuracy can reach ±0.5℃, effectively preventing melt from cooling, solidifying, and carbonizing.
Drive system: motor + reducer + universal joint, with the joint automatically compensating for coaxial deviations, ensuring more stable power transmission.
Auxiliary structure: Reserve mounting holes for pressure and temperature sensors; high-strength flange connection, suitable for high-temperature melt pipelines.
It is often used in conjunction with a dual-column screen changer to stabilize melt flow pressure!
